DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD ANALYSIS.

CONTENTS AND FORMAT.

How the movies brought back the lost genre of Orchestral and Classical. This is the main story (Splash) the heading shall be in bold, Italics and the font I shall use shall be Black Chancery to be consistent with the contents and cover page.

It shall be in the color of burgundy from my brand identity color scheme and the shade of black for the outline. This shall cover up roughly three – 4 columns. Whilst the other topic covers the remaining 2 columns.

I shall use a medieval style font for my masthead and shall position it at the top in central image; my brand identity color scheme will be burgundy, silver and gold. I shall use a drop cap at the start of the paragraph and will stick with a formal mature style to the language; I shall use 3 – 5 columns (Small in size.)

LANGUAGE

I will start by writing two separate articles on my DPS. One will be the article “Bringing the Lost Genre Back to Fashion”. This shall include things such as movie titles and composers and the health benefits of children. It shall have scientific research to back up the points of how this genre of music has had positive health benefits on the lives of our youth and how we as humans look for certain patterns within the world.

The language I have chosen will be classed as formal to fit with the chosen genre and keep a medieval style of font and brand identity.

This article will recommend the genre I have chosen not only on aphetic grounds but also health grounds.

LAYOUT

I shall use a drop cap at the start of the article to keep with the medieval illuminated manuscript theme.

I shall position the columns at the bottom of the DPS and will have around 3 – 6 columns, these shall include contents relating to the splash on the front cover and how movies brought the chosen sub-genre back together. in edition I shall include the article about the interview with David Lawrence.

I shall use an image that covers the one A4 page and will bleed over to the other page. I shall also put three smaller images in the bottom left corner of the main image.

I am going to cover ¼ of the page with text, and the remaining ¾ with imagery.

For the three smaller images I shall use a border that looks similar to a film strip to create a nice effect which also relates to the splash topic and is attractive to the reader.

My Masthead will be positioned at the top of my DPS, central.
